Nick Love's film about English football hooligans in the 1980s features one scene with a firm getting off at Portsmouth, but once out of the station the confrontation and fighting with rival fans was filmed in Littlehampton.

I watched the the filming on Littlehampton sea front, the cafe behind coastguard tower, they changed the name. Also had an old coach, like a football special. Locals were asked along as extras, with the right clothing. Fila clothing etc. Plenty of rubber bricks, plastic bottles being thrown, proper sounds added after.
