Loot is a black comedy, based on a popular play written by Joe Orton and adapted for the big screen by tv writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, best known for Hancock's Half Hour and Steptoe and Son.
Several scenes were filmed in Brighton, but this car chase was filmed on West Beach, Littlehampton. See clip.
