Over the coming months we'll be highlighting some of the hundreds of newsreels featuring footage from our region, thankfully now preserved in various archive facilities around our country, with many available to watch online.
To kick things off, here's four 1920s and 30s newsreels filmed and edited by the Bognor Regis Film Society (more about them coming soon), plus a specially commissioned compilation of local footage from the 1930s to the 1960s.
